Frank Mann

Owner and President

Frank is responsible for the overall vision and strategy of Biomids, and he has been involved in all customer and product initiatives. He is a driven entrepreneur with great innovative sales and technical skills. Frank has led sales and technical teams to bottom line successes. He has thirty-five years of experience in technical sales and system engineering at IBM, a marketing and management background as the VP of Manufacturing and Distribution at Keane Associates, and leadership experience as VP of Marketing for ECS (a turnaround and exit). Whether for a Fortune 500 company or his own software development firm MDI, he has utilized his expertise to leverage technological innovation for process improvement and overall business growth and development. His primary focus has been with applications and system software in the healthcare, financial, and manufacturing industries as both CIO and CEO.

George McHorney

Interim CEO

George recently joined Biomids as interim CEO and member of the Board of Directors to oversee the continued development of the offering as well as to build a base of contracted customers. George is an accomplished financial and operational executive with comprehensive experience in both entrepreneurial and Fortune 500 corporate environments. He has hands-on experience in building technology companies from start-up stage to a fully functional, public company. He has served in multiple capacities including CFO, COO and President/CEO. George has exhibited leadership in managing finance, administration, engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing and customer services in multiple organizations. He has been successful in managing growth challenges as well as restructuring challenges. George has delivered several liquidity events including an IPO and five M&A transactions on both buy and sell side.

Mike Paul

Chief Technology Officer

Mike acts as the primary architect for the Biomids offering, and he is responsible for guiding the offshore product development teams. Mike is a senior technology executive with over 20 years of experience in software and IT applications development, including CASE tools, operations, and customer support. He has successfully led development efforts to bring high-quality commercial applications to market in the modeling, configuration management, and educational disciplines. Mike has strong technical, interpersonal and communications skills with significant accomplishments in team-building and strategic planning. Mike has been the chief architect and lead designer on a number of website projects for companies such as National Geographic School Publishing, Ecto Learning and Socius Medical. His technical skills include programming languages such as c#, c++, VisualBasic and JavaScript; database management systems including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle; and software development lifecycle tools.

Dennis Fonseca

SVP Operations

Dennis oversees the daily operations of the business, including vendor and customer relations and general organizational and operational oversight. He has over 31 years of experience in the technology field, primarily in the healthcare industry. He has been the CIO and HIPAA Security Officer at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth, MA, and the MIS Director over three hospitals that comprise Southcoast Health System directing the ongoing selection, implementation, and maintenance of all major hospital information systems. His leadership experience includes project management overseeing such projects as the merging of three hospital information systems into one. Also, he was responsible for planning and implementing a multi-million-dollar system upgrade. Dennis also served on numerous committees including Total Quality Management (TQM) efforts to streamline processes, long range planning endeavors, and external software user groups.

Jack Chafin

VP Strategic Partnerships

Jack is primarily responsible for sales within identified vertical markets and developing new strategic alliances and partnerships at Biomids. Jack has an extensive track record of building outstanding teams and directing all aspects of Information Technology for large, fast moving firms. With Norwell Technology Group he provided advisory services to companies in the Investment Management, Banking, and IT Services industries. He has been an advisor and early stage investor in the launching of three investment management firms, three management consultancies, three IT services firms, and five commercial websites. At Putnam Investments, Jack joined as CTO and developed a technology strategy to resolve service level issues and provide stability, scalability, and redundancy. As an executive vice president at Fidelity, Jack ran all technology as CTO, and, later oversaw all systems development, creating the Professional Productivity division that delivered IT and business training as well as business analysis consulting in the US, Europe and Japan. As a Consultant and Partner at Global Collateral Management Solutions, Jack worked with a seniorteam of experts to develop a collateral management strategy for one of the largest custodial banks and provide guidance to several asset management firms after the financial crisis of 2008-2009. As a Consultant and Partner at Devonshire Financial Group, Jack worked on strategy projects for clients in the mutual fund, investment banking, and retirement processing businesses.

John Cherry

VP Business Development

John is responsible for sales within identified vertical markets and cultivating existing strategic partnerships at Biomids. John has over thirty-five years of experience in sales, sales management and marketing at high tech companies, both large NYSE-traded companies and start-ups. John has a well-developed entrepreneurial spirit as well as substantial executive-level managerial experience at both U.S. and international enterprises. As SVP of Sales and Marketing at ANT Limited, John successfully steered the sales and marketing of the start-up in the UK as well as in Europe and the United States. In this capacity he created, developed and executed both the sales and marketing plans. John’s hands-on approach allows him to both create and mentor a successful business development environment.
